Donald Gross
Donald Gross joined George Mason as a Research Professor in the SEOR department in 1995. Previously, he was a professor, department chair, and associate vice president for research and graduate studies at The George Washington University, where he was awarded professor emeritus status in 1995. His areas of expertise are queueing theory and discrete event simulation and his current areas of application interest are telecommunications traffic and air traffic control. He is a fellow of the Institute of Operations Research and the Management Sciences and has been awarded the George E. Kimball Medal for service to the Institute and the profession.
