I started as an assistant professor at GMU since August, 2004 after I obtained my Ph.D. from the High Performance Computing and Software Lab, Department of Computer Science, at The College of William & Mary in July, 2004. I received my B.S. (June, 1997) and M.S. (June, 1999) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.

My research interests include operating systems, distributed and high performance computing, Internet content delivery systems.
