Endowed Chairs

An endowment is a gift that establishes a permanent fund. The principal of the gift is never spent. Only the income earned on the principal is used for the purposes the donor specifies in the endowment.

Named, endowed scholarships and fellowships provide the opportunity to establish a permanent scholarship or fellowship that honors a special individual, family, or cause. Each year in perpetuity, the earned income from the prinicipal of a named, endowed scholarship is used to provide financial assistance to a qualifying student.
