Networking Event Follow-up
The IT&E Alumni Chapter held a networking event recently on the Fairfax Campus. The event provided an opportunity for IT&E alumni to learn about the mission, goals, and upcoming events for the Chapter. For those that could not join us, there is still time to assume a leadership role within the Chapter. The leadership for the chapter the Board is comprised of traditional officer positions and department representative roles. We would like the Board to best represent each department within the School of IT&E. We plan to meet once a quarter. You can be part of it!

Many hours of hard work have made possible the launch of this chapter; with your enthusiasm and ideas the future is ours to create. Your involvement is crucial to helping our Chapter thrive. Most communication/ planning will be carried out through email and teleconferences. We would like to have all Board positions finalized by August 19. We all can contribute!
Thank you to Dean Griffiths and the IT&E staff for their strong support. The Fall will be here shortly, and will launch us immediately towards contributing to the School. Stay tuned, spread the word about our Chapter, and have a great summer!
